नवी दिल्ली : भारतीय विकेटकीपर फलंदाज केएल राहुल त्याच्या खराब फॉर्मशी झगडत आहे. त्यामुळे राहुलला माजी दिग्गज क्रिकेटपटू व्यंकटेश प्रसाद यांच्या फटकाऱ्याला सामोरे जावे लागले आहे. व्यंकटेश प्रसाद गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून केएल राहुलला सोशल मीडियावर सतत फटकारत आहेत. व्यंकटेश कधी राहुलला सल्ले देतो तर कधी त्याच्यावर रागावतो. या सगळ्याचा संबंध फक्त एकाच गोष्टीशी आहे आणि तो म्हणजे राहुलची खराब कामगिरी. आता व्यंकटेश प्रसाद यांनी सोशल मीडियाच्या माध्यमातून राहुलवर राग काढत इंदूरमध्ये होणाऱ्या तिसऱ्या कसोटीत धावा काढण्यास सांगितले आहे.

दुसऱ्या कसोटी सामन्यातही राहुल फ्लॉप : कसोटीतील खराब कामगिरीमुळे केएल राहुलला अनेक टोमणे ऐकावे लागले. ऑस्ट्रेलियाविरुद्ध नागपुरात झालेल्या पहिल्या कसोटी सामन्यात राहुल काही विशेष कामगिरी करू शकला नाही. त्यानंतर दिल्लीत खेळल्या गेलेल्या भारत आणि ऑस्ट्रेलिया यांच्यातील दुसऱ्या कसोटी सामन्यातही राहुल फ्लॉप राहिला. यानंतरही निवड समितीने राहुलवर विश्वास ठेवला आहे. राहुल तिसऱ्या आणि चौथ्या कसोटी सामन्यातही खेळू शकतो. पण राहुलची कामगिरी पाहून आता पुढच्या दोन कसोटीत त्याला संधी मिळणार नाही, असे वाटत होते. आता मात्र निवड समिती राहुलवर विश्वास ठेवत असल्याची अटकळ बांधली जात आहे. या प्रकरणावरून व्यंकटेश प्रसाद यांनी राहुल यांच्यावर सडकून टीका केली आहे. त्याने शिखर धवन, मयंक अग्रवाल, अजिंक्य रहाणे आणि केएल राहुलचे आकडे आपल्या ट्विटर हँडलवरून शेअर केले आहेत. राहुलची या खेळाडूंशी तुलना करताना व्यंकटेश यांनी या आकड्यांद्वारे सांगितले की, या खेळाडूंची कामगिरी तितकीशी वाईट नव्हती. मात्र त्यानंतरही त्याला संघात संधी मिळालेली नाही.

धवनचा विदेशी भूमीवर सर्वोत्तम विक्रम : वेंकटेश प्रसाद यांनी आकडेवारीच्या माध्यमातून सांगितले की, शिखर धवनचा विदेशी भूमीवर सर्वोत्तम विक्रम आहे. परदेश दौऱ्यात धवनने 40 च्या सरासरीने 5 शतके झळकावली. धवनला कसोटीतील कामगिरीवर थोडे अधिक काम करावे लागेल. त्याचबरोबर धवनने श्रीलंका आणि न्यूझीलंडमध्येही शतक झळकावले आहे. धवनच्या नावावरही भारतात मोठा विक्रम आहे. इंदूरमध्ये होणाऱ्या तिसऱ्या कसोटीसाठी केएल राहुलचा संघाच्या प्लेइंग इलेव्हनमध्ये समावेश केल्यास त्याने माझ्यासारख्या टीकाकारांना उत्तर द्यावे, असेही व्यंकटेश यांना सांगायचे होते. याचा अर्थ राहुलने इंदूरमध्ये चांगली कामगिरी करून प्रत्युत्तर द्यावे. राहुल हे करू शकत नसतील तर त्याने काउंटी क्रिकेट खेळावे.
