कोलकाता - ज्येष्ठ क्रीडा पत्रकार आणि क्रिकेट समालोचक किशोर भीमानी यांचे निधन झाले आहे. ते ७४ वर्षांचे होते. १९८७मध्ये पाकिस्तानविरुद्ध अहमदाबाद कसोटीत सुनील गावसकर यांनी कसोटी क्रिकेटमध्ये १०,००० धावा पूर्ण केल्या. त्यावेळी भीमानी समालोचन करत होते.
इतकेच नव्हे, तर १९८६मध्ये चेपॉक येथे ऑस्ट्रेलियाविरुद्ध बरोबरीत सुटलेल्या सामन्यादरम्यानही माईक त्यांच्या हातात होता. भीमानी १९७८ १९८० या काळात कलकत्ता स्पोर्ट्स जर्नालिस्ट क्लबचे अध्यक्षही होते. भीमानी यांच्या निधनानंतर अनेकांनी त्यांना श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे.
