अधिकृत घोषणा: क्रिकेटर मिताली राजचा येणार बायोपिक, तापसी पन्नू साकारणार भूमिका

'मिशन मंगल' आणि 'सांड की आंख'च्या यशानंतर तापसी आता या बायोपिकसाठी सज्ज झाली आहे.  तिने मितालीला वाढदिवसाच्या शुभेच्छा देत तिच्यासोबतचे फोटो सोशल मीडियावर शेअर केले आहेत.

मुंबई - भारतीय महिला संघाची कर्णधार मिताली राजच्या आयुष्यावर लवकरच बायोपिक तयार करण्यात येणार आहे. बऱ्याच दिवसांपासून या बायोपिकची चर्चा होती. मात्र, आता या बायोपिकची अधिकृत घोषणा करण्यात आली आहे. बॉलिवूड अभिनेत्री तापसी पन्नू यामध्ये मुख्य भूमिका साकारणार आहे. मितालीच्या ३७ व्या वाढदिवशी या बायोपिकची घोषणा करण्यात आली आहे.

मितालीला वाढदिवसाची काय भेट द्यावी, याविषयी तिचं मत ठरत नव्हतं. मात्र, 'पडद्यावर तुझा प्रवास पाहताना सर्वांना तुझ्याविषयी गर्व वाटेल, असाच मी माझ्या भूमिकेतून प्रयत्न करेल', असा शब्द तापसीने दिला आहे. मितालीने क्रिकेटमध्ये अमुल्य असे योगदान दिले आहे. ऑक्टोबर महिन्यात आंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेटमध्ये २० वर्षे पूर्ण करणारी मिताली पहिली भारतीय महिला क्रिकेटर ठरली आहे. तिचा प्रवास पडद्यावर पाहण्यासाठी चाहत्यांनाही आतुरता आहे. तापसीने अलिकडेच 'सांड की आंख' या बायोपिकमध्येही भूमिका साकारली होती. यामध्ये शार्प शूटर चंद्रो आणि प्रकाशी तोमर यांची कथा दाखवण्यात आली. यामध्ये तिने आपल्या वयापेक्षा जास्त असलेली व्यक्तीरेखा साकारली होती.
