परिवहन खात्याने केलेल्या सर्वेक्षणामध्ये असे दिसून आले की,गर्दी असलेल्या सार्वजनिक वाहतुकीच्या ठीकाणी मुलींना ये-जा करण्यामध्ये अडचणी येतात. हे लक्षात घेऊन आम्ही ही वाहने सुरू केल्याचं राजौरीचे जिल्हा विकास आयुक्त मोहम्मद ऐजाज असद यांनी सांगितले.
११ ऑक्टोबर हा जागतिक बालिका दिवस म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. ११ ऑक्टोबर २०१२ ला पहिला जागतिक बालिका कन्या दिवस साजरा करण्यात आला होता. तेव्हापासून जगामध्ये मुलींच्या विकासासाठी तसेच जगातील काही ठिकाणी होणाऱ्या स्त्री-भ्रृण हत्या रोखण्यासाठी हा दिवस साजरा केला जावू लागला. हा दिवस संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा घोषित करण्यात आला आहे.
