ന്യൂഡൽഹി : ലോക വനിത ബോക്‌സിങ് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക്‌ രണ്ടാം സ്വർണം. വനിതകളുടെ 81 കിലോ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സവീറ്റി ബൂറയാണ് സ്വർണം സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്. വാശിയേറിയ ഫൈനലിൽ ചൈനയുടെ വാങ് ലിനയെയാണ് സവീറ്റി ഇടിച്ച് വീഴ്‌ത്തിയത്. 4-3 എന്ന സ്‌കോറിനായിരുന്നു താരത്തിന്‍റെ വിജയം. നേരത്തെ 48 കിലോ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ നീതു ഗൻഗാസും ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കാ‌യി സ്വർണം നേടിയിരുന്നു.
ഫൈനലിൽ ആദ്യ റൗണ്ടിൽ പിന്നിട്ടുനിന്ന ശേഷമായിരുന്നു ശക്‌തമായി തിരിച്ചെത്തി സവീറ്റി ബൂറ സ്വർണം നേടിയത്. 2014 ലെ ലോക ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ സവീറ്റി വെള്ളി നേടിയിരുന്നു. 2022 ലെ ഏഷ്യൻ ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ താരം സ്വർണവും സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. മത്സരശേഷം മികച്ച സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കിയതിന് ഇന്‍റർനാഷണൽ ബോക്‌സിങ് അസോസിയേഷന് സവീറ്റി നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു.
