ഹാങ്‌ചോ : ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസിലെ (Asian Games 2023) തന്‍റെ നേട്ടം മണിപ്പൂരിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വുഷു (Wushu) താരം റോഷിബിന ദേവി (Roshibina Devi Dedicates Her Medal To Manipur Peoples). വനിതകളുടെ 60 കിലോ ഗ്രാം വിഭാഗം വുഷു മത്സരത്തിലാണ് റോഷിബിന ദേവി വെള്ളി മെഡല്‍ നേടിയത്. ചൈനീസ് താരത്തോടായിരുന്നു ഫൈനലില്‍ റോഷിബിനയുടെ തോല്‍വി (Wushu Women's 60KG Category).
ഇന്ന് (സെപ്‌റ്റംബര്‍ 28) നടന്ന ഫൈനലില്‍ 2-0 എന്ന സ്‌കോറിനായിരുന്നു റോഷിബിന ദേവി ചൈനീസ് താരത്തോട് പരാജയപ്പെട്ടത്. 2019ലെ സൗത്ത് ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസില്‍ ഇതേ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ മെഡല്‍ നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള താരമാണ് റോഷിബിന ദേവി. 2018ലെ ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസില്‍ താരം വെങ്കലവും സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മത്സരശേഷം, മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു ഹാങ്ചോയിലെ ജയം മണിപ്പൂരിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ താന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന കാര്യം റോഷിബിന വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. 'മണിപ്പൂര്‍ കത്തിയമരുകയാണ്. അവിടെ പോരാട്ടം നടക്കുന്നു. എന്‍റെ ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്ക് പോലും എനിക്ക് പോകാന്‍ സാധിക്കുന്നില്ല. അവിടെ, അക്രമ സംഭവങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഞങ്ങളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും കഷ്‌ടതയനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഈ മെഡല്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാനാണ് ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്' -റോഷിബിന ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു.
മണിപ്പൂരില്‍ സംഭവിക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ എന്താണെന്ന് തനിക്ക് അറിയില്ല. ഈ സംഭവ വികാസങ്ങള്‍ എപ്പോള്‍ അവസാനിക്കുമെന്നോ, പഴയ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് എപ്പോള്‍ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്നോ തനിക്ക് അറിയില്ലെന്നും താരം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു. ഫൈനല്‍ പോരാട്ടത്തിന് ഇറങ്ങുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് വീട്ടുകാരുമായി സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നുവെന്നും മത്സരത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കാനാണ് അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതെന്നും റോഷിബിന വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം നടന്ന മത്സരത്തില്‍ 22 കാരിയായ റോഷിബിന ലോക ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പിലെ വെള്ളി മെഡല്‍ ജേതാവായ വിയറ്റ്‌നാം താരത്തെ അട്ടിമറിച്ചുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു ഫൈനലിന് യോഗ്യത നേടിയത്. ഇതിലൂടെ ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസ് ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഫൈനലിന് യോഗ്യത നേടുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ മാത്രം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരമായി മാറാനും റോഷിബിനയ്‌ക്കായി. 2010ലെ ഏഷ്യാഡല്‍ ഫൈനലിലെത്തിയ വംഖെം സന്ധ്യാറാണി ദേവിയാണ് ഈ നേട്ടത്തിലെത്തിയ ആദ്യ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരം.
ഫൈനലിലേക്കുള്ള ആ ജയം, ഹാങ്‌ചോയിലേക്ക് ചൈന വിസ നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെട്ട തന്‍റെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും സഹതാരങ്ങളുമായ ഒനിലു ടേഗ (Onilu Tega), മെപുങ് ലംഗു (Mepung Lamgu), നെയ്‌മൻ വാങ്ചു (Nyeman Wangsu) എന്നിവര്‍ക്ക് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നുവെന്നാണ് റോഷിബിന ദേവി പറഞ്ഞത്.
