ഒരു മണിക്കൂർ ആറ് മിനിട്ട് നീണ്ടുനിന്ന കനത്ത പോരാട്ടത്തിനൊടുവിലായിരുന്നു സിന്ധുവിന്‍റെ വിജയം. ആദ്യ ഗെയിം കൊറിയൻ താരം അനായാസം സ്വന്തമാക്കിയെങ്കിലും തുടർന്നുള്ള ഗെയിമുകളിൽ സിന്ധു തിരിച്ചടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അവസാന ഗെയിം 11-11ന് തുല്യമായി നിന്നശേഷം അവിശ്വസനീയ തിരിച്ചുവരവിലൂടെയാണ് സിന്ധു ഗെയിമും മത്സരവും സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്.
