ചെന്നൈ: തമിഴ് നടൻ വിവേകാനന്ദൻ അന്തരിച്ചു. ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് താരത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. 59 വയസായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ നാലരയോട് കൂടിയാണ് നടന്‍റെ മരണം ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
വിവേക് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച കൊവിഡ് വാക്സിൻ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, വാക്സിന്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചത് ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തിന് കാരണമല്ലെന്ന് ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. അക്യൂട്ട് കൊറോണറി സിന്‍ഡ്രോമിനൊപ്പമുള്ള ഹൃദയാഘാതമാണ് വിവേകിന് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്നും മെഡിക്കൽ ബുള്ളറ്റിനിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

1987ൽ മനതിൽ ഒരുത്തി വേണ്ടും എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് സിനിമാരംഗത്ത് എത്തുന്നത്. തമിഴിലെ മുഖ്യഹാസ്യതാരമായിരുന്നു. റൺ, ഖുശി, മിന്നലേ തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി തമിഴ് ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ നിറഞ്ഞുനിന്നു. ടിവി അവതാരകനായും താരം തിളങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അഞ്ച് തവണ തമിഴ്നാട് സർക്കാരിന്‍റെ മികച്ച ഹാസ്യനടനുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2009ൽ രാജ്യം പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാരം നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.
