മോഹൻലാൽ, ശ്രീനിവാസൻ, ജഗതി, മുകേഷ് തുടങ്ങി മലയാളത്തിലെ മികച്ച അഭിനയനിരയെ അണിനിരത്തി ചിരിയുടെ മാലപ്പടക്കം തീർത്ത പ്രിയദർശൻ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു 1986ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മഴ പെയ്യുന്നു മദ്ദളം കൊട്ടുന്നു. ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഓരോ നർമമുഹൂർത്തങ്ങളും ഡയലോഗുകളും ഇന്നും മലയാളി മറന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഈ വർഷം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ കിലോമീറ്റേഴ്‌സ് ആന്‍റ് കിലോമീറ്റേഴ്‌സിനും ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഡയലോഗാണ് ടൈറ്റിലായി നൽകിയിരുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ, മലയാള സിനിമയിലേക്ക് വീണ്ടും ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഹാസ്യപ്രയോഗങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയാണ് പ്രേം ശ്രീകുമാറും ടീമും.
