ലോക കായിക വേദികളില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ യശസുയര്‍ത്തിയ സ്പ്രിന്‍റര്‍ മില്‍ഖാ സിംഗിന്‍റെ വേര്‍പാടില്‍ വിതുമ്പുകയാണ് രാജ്യം. 91 കാരനായ മില്‍ഖാ സിങ് കൊവിഡ് ബാധിതനായി ചികിത്സയില്‍ കഴിയുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് അന്തരിച്ചത്. ഭാര്യയും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വോളിബോള്‍ ടീമിന്‍റെ മുന്‍ ക്യാപ്റ്റനുമായ നിര്‍മല്‍ കൗര്‍ അഞ്ച് ദിവസം മുമ്പ് മരിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഇന്ത്യയ്‌ക്ക് അഭിമാനമായ ഫ്ലൈയിങ് സിങിന് ആദാരാഞ്ജലികള്‍ നേരുകയാണ് സിനിമാ ലോകം. ഫര്‍ഹന്‍ അക്തര്‍, അക്ഷയ്‌ കുമാര്‍, പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്ര, ഷാരൂഖ് ഖാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ താരങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഓര്‍മ കുറിപ്പുകളും പങ്കുവെച്ചു.
