സെപ്തംബര്‍ 20ന് പ്രദര്‍ശനത്തിനെത്തുന്ന ദുല്‍ഖര്‍ സല്‍‌മാന്‍റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ബോളിവുഡ് ചിത്രം സോയ ഫാക്ടറിന് ആശംകളുമായി ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ദൈവം സച്ചിന് ടെന്‍ഡുല്‍ക്കര്‍. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീമിന്‍റെ കഥപറയുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ സോനം കപൂറാണ് നായിക. ദുല്‍ഖറിനും സോനത്തിനും ഭാവുകങ്ങള്‍ നേരുന്നുവെന്നായിരുന്നു സച്ചിന്‍റെ ട്വീറ്റ്. 2008ല്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അനുജ ചൗഹാന്‍റെ നോവല്‍ പ്രമേയമാക്കിയുള്ളതാണ് ചിത്രം. 2011 ലോകകപ്പിനായി ഒരുങ്ങുന്ന ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീമിന്‍റെയും ടീമിന്‍റെ പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷന്‍സിനായി ടീമിനൊപ്പം ചേരുന്ന യുവതിയുടെയും കഥയാണ് ദി സോയാ ഫാക്ടര്‍.
