ആർ.എസ് വിമലിന്‍റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ സംവിധാന സംരഭം 300 കോടി ബജറ്റിലാണ് ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. മഹാഭാരത കഥയെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി ഒരുക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ കർണനായി എത്തുന്നത് പൃഥ്വിരാജ് ആണെന്നായിരുന്നു ആദ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നതെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് ചിയാൻ വിക്രമായിരിക്കും നായകവേഷം ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ വന്നത്. സുരേഷ് ഗോപിയും ചിത്രത്തിൽ പ്രധാന വേഷം ചെയ്യുമെന്നും പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. 2018ലായിരുന്നു സൂര്യപുത്ര മഹാവീര്‍ കര്‍ണയുടെ പ്രഖ്യാപനമുണ്ടായത്.
