ഡെറാഡൂൺ: ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിലെ മിന്നൽ പ്രളയത്തിന്‍റെ കാരണങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കാൻ വിദഗ്‌ധ സംഘം ചമോലിയിലെക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. ഡിആർഡിഒ - എസ്എഎസ്ഇ (ഡിഫന്‍സ് റിസര്‍ച്ച് ആന്‍റ് ഡെവലപ്മെന്‍റ് ഓര്‍ഗനൈസേഷന്‍- സ്നോ ആന്‍ഡ് അലവാഞ്ചേ സ്റ്റഡി എസ്റ്റാബ്ലിഷ്മെന്‍റ്) ന്‍റെ ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞ സംഘമാണ് ചമോലിയിലെക്ക് പുറപ്പെടാനായി ഡെറാഡൂണൽ എത്തിയത്. കൂടാതെ പ്രദേശത്തെ സ്ഥിതിഗതികൾ വിലയിരുത്താൻ കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി രമേശ് പൊക്രിയാൽ ചമോലി സന്ദർശിക്കും.

203 ഓളം പേരെ ഇനിയും കണ്ടെത്താനുണ്ടെന്ന് ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ത്രിവേന്ദ്ര സിംഗ് റാവത്ത് പറഞ്ഞു. 11 മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ കൂടി കണ്ടെടുത്തു. ടണലില്‍ 35 പേരോളം കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നതായാണ് നിഗമനം. രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണെന്നും ത്രിവേന്ദ്ര സിംഗ് റാവത്ത് പറഞ്ഞു.

  • Uttarakhand: Rescue operation continues on the second day at Joshimath in Chamoli where a flash flood, triggered due to glacier burst, occurred y'day.

    12 people were rescued from one tunnel y'day. The second tunnel is being cleared with the help of JCB machines to rescue people pic.twitter.com/WEe0qA6rXi

  • After tireless efforts of Army personnel, including Engineering Task Force, the mouth of the tunnel was cleared. Work continued throughout the night with earthmovers by installing generators and search lights.

അതേസമയം, ആളുകൾ പരിഭ്രാന്തരാകരുതെന്നും രക്ഷാ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ പ്രദേശത്ത് തുടരുകയാണെന്ന് ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് ഡിജിപി പറഞ്ഞു. വിവിധ ഇടങ്ങളിലായി 153 പേർ കുടുങ്ങികിടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും പ്രദേശത്ത് തിരച്ചിൽ തുടരുകയാണെന്നും ഡിജിപി പറഞ്ഞു. മിന്നൽ പ്രളയത്തിൽ പലയിടത്തും പാലങ്ങൾ ഒലിച്ചുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 13 ഗ്രാമങ്ങളാണ് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട് പോയത്. കൂടാതെ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കത്തിൽ പെട്ട് തുരങ്കത്തിൽ കുടുങ്ങി കിടക്കുന്നവരെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ വെള്ളം കനാലുകൾ വഴി തിരിച്ചുവിടും. നിലവിൽ തുരങ്കത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 12 പേരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടുതൽ പേരെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനായി വലിയ ജെസിബികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ളവ ദുരന്തബാധിത മേഖലയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
