ന്യൂഡൽഹി: അതിര്‍ത്തി സംഘര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ ചൈനയെ കടന്നാക്രമിച്ച് പ്രതിരോധമന്ത്രി രാജ്‌നാഥ് സിംഗ്. ചൈന ഉഭയകക്ഷി കരാറുകൾ ലംഘിച്ചുവെന്ന് രാജ്‌നാഥ് സിംഗ് രാജ്യസഭയില്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. 1993, 1996 വർഷങ്ങളിലെ കരാറുകൾക്ക് വിരുദ്ധമായാണ് ചൈനീസ് പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ.

കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറേ ദശകങ്ങളായി സൈനിക ശേഷി വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി അതിർത്തി പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചൈന കാര്യമായ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ നിർമാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിർത്തിയിലെ അടിസ്ഥാന വികസന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾക്കായുള്ള ബജറ്റ് മുൻ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്‍റും ഇരട്ടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ സമാധാനപരമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാൻ നമ്മൾ പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധരാണ്. അതേ സമയം, അനിശ്ചിതസംഭവങ്ങളെ നേരിടാനും രാജ്യം തയ്യാറാണെന്ന് പ്രതിരോധമന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു.

ലഡാക്കിൽ ഏകദേശം 38,000 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ പ്രദേശത്ത് ചൈനീസ് സേനയുടെ സാന്നിധ്യമുണ്ട്. ഇതിനുപുറമെ, 1963ലെ സിനോ- പാകിസ്ഥാൻ അതിർത്തി കരാർ പ്രകാരം 5,180 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ പാക് അധിനിവേശ കശ്‌മീരിന്‍റെ ഭാഗം പാകിസ്ഥാൻ ചൈനയ്‌ക്ക് വിട്ടുനൽകി.

അരുണാചൽ പ്രദേശിലെ ഇന്ത്യ-ചൈന അതിർത്തിയിലെ കിഴക്കൻ പ്രദേശത്ത് ഏകദേശം 90,000 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ പ്രദേശം ചൈന അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നതായും രാജ്‌നാഥ് സിംഗ് അറിയിച്ചു.
