ബെംഗളൂരു: പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്ക് മുക്തമാകാനൊരുങ്ങി ഗംഗവതി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്. ഇതിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി പഞ്ചായത്ത് അധികൃതര്‍ വീടുകള്‍ കയറി തുണിസഞ്ചികള്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. കോപ്പല്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ ഗംഗാവതി താലൂക്കിലാണ് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്കിനെ പടികടത്താൻ വേറിട്ട പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം നടക്കുന്നത്. ഗ്രാമങ്ങളില്‍ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്ക് വിരുദ്ധ ബോധവല്‍ക്കരണവും നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പ്രദേശത്തെ അമരദീപ് തുണിക്കടയുമായി സഹകരിച്ചാണ് തുണി ബാഗുകളുടെ നിര്‍മാണം നടക്കുന്നത്. നിലവില്‍ 2500-ഓളം ബാഗുകള്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു. സ്വച്ഛ് ഭാരതിന്‍റെ ലോഗോയും ബാഗിലുണ്ട്. പരിപാടിയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന പ്രദേശവാസികള്‍ക്ക് അനുമോദനങ്ങളും സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ശുചിത്വത്തിന് രാജ്യപുരസ്കാര്‍ ലഭിച്ച ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്താണിത്.

They are the gram panchayat members who are visiting house to house and distributing bags made of clothes to all households in the village. On the other side, officials, who are creating awareness among the villagers against the use of plastic. The gram panchayat with the help of local clothes shop Amaradeep Clothes Showroom has already distributed around 2,500 bags made of clothes in the village. Interestingly, these bags carry the logo of the PM Modi's pet programme Swachh Bharath.
