ഗുവാഹത്തി: കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറിനിടയിൽ 11 കേസുകൾ കൂടി റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തതോടെ അസമിൽ മൊത്തം കൊവിഡ് കേസുകൾ 56 ആയി. പുതിയ രോഗികൾക്കായി രണ്ട് മെഡിക്കൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടുകൾ സർക്കാർ തുറന്നു. അസം ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി ഹിമന്ത ബിശ്വ ശർമ്മ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ഗുവാഹത്തിയിലെ ഗുവാഹത്തി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രി (ജിഎംസിഎച്ച്) സന്ദർശിച്ചു. 56 കേസുകളിൽ 21 എണ്ണം സജീവമാണ്. 34 പേരെ ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചെയ്തു. ഒരാൾ രോഗം ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ചു.

ജി‌എം‌സി‌എച്ചിലെ പി‌ജി വിദ്യാർഥിക്ക് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഹോസ്റ്റൽ നമ്പർ 1, 5 എന്നിവ കണ്ടെൻമെന്‍റ് സോണായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. മരണപ്പെട്ടയാളുടെ മുത്തശ്ശി കാൻസർ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലെ ക്ലീനറാണ്. മരിച്ചവരുമായും കുടുംബവുമായും എത്രപേർ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്താൻ ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന് നിർദേശം നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു.
