ഗുവാഹത്തി: പൗരത്വ ഭേദഗതി നിയമത്തെ അനുകൂലിച്ച് അസമിലെ ബിജെപി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ നാലു കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ മെഗാ റാലി നടത്തി. മൊറിഗണ്‍ ജില്ലയിലായിരുന്നു റാലി. റാലിക്ക് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സര്‍ബാനന്ദ സോണോവാളും മന്ത്രി ഹിമന്ത ബിസ്വ ശര്‍മയും നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.

അസമിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമാധാനവും ശാന്തിയുമാണ് വേണ്ടതെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. മെഗാറാലിയിലെ ജനപങ്കാളിത്തം അതാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ട്വീറ്റില്‍ നിരവധി ജനങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ചിത്രവും അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കുവച്ചു. 1000 വാക്കുകള്‍ക്ക് തുല്യമാണ് ഒരു ചിത്രം എന്നുപറഞ്ഞാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ചിത്രം പങ്കുവച്ചത്.
റാലിയില്‍ പ്രദേശ വാസികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 50,000 പേര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ജാഗിറോഡ് കോളജ് ഗ്രൗണ്ടില്‍ നിന്നാരംഭിച്ച റാലി കഹികുചി എല്‍.പി സ്കൂള്‍ മൈതാനത്താണ് സമാപിച്ചത്.
