ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್‌(ಗುಜರಾತ್): ಪ್ರೊ ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ಲೀಗ್‌ನ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಬುಲ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಜೈಂಟ್ಸ್ 34-31 ಪಾಯಿಂಟುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಂದ್ಯ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಭಾನುವಾರ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಇಕೆಎ ಅರೆನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಎರಡನೇ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿದ್ದಾಜಿದ್ದಿನ ಹೋರಾಟ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಕೊನೆಯ ಎರಡು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು. ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 12 ಅಂಕ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಸೋನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಪರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಆಟಗಾರನಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದರು.
ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಮೊದಲ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಜ್‌ ನರ್ವಾಲ್‌ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಸ್ನಿಂದ ಬುಲ್ಸ್ 3-0 ಮುನ್ನಡೆ ಗಳಿಸಿತು. ಕೆಲವು ಕ್ಷಣಗಳ ನಂತರ ಭರತ್‌ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೈಂಟ್ಸ್‌ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಖಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದರೆ, 5ನೇ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್‌ ನಬೀಭಕ್ಷ್ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಅಂಕದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜೈಂಟ್ಸ್ ಕೈ ಮೇಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ, ಸೋನು ಎರಡು ರೈಡ್‌ ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೈಂಟ್ಸ್ 5-5ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕೋರ್ ಸಮಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.
