ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ರೋಚಕವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡೂ ತಂಡಗಳೂ ಸಮಬಲದ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದವು. ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಮೊದಲಾರ್ಧದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಎರಡೂ ತಂಡಗಳು ತಲಾ 13-13 ಅಂಕ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದವು. ಆದರೆ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಆಟ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ ವಾರಿಯರ್ಸ್ 13-13 ಇದ್ದ ಅಂಕವನ್ನು 17-13ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ನಂತರ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ 33-29ರಿಂದ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು.
