Asian Games opening ceremony: ಏಷ್ಯನ್​ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್​ಗೆ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತ ಅಥ್ಲೀಟ್​ಗಳು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹ್ಯಾಂಗ್‌ಝೌ (ಚೀನಾ): ಮಿನಿ ಒಲಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್​ ಎಂದೇ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಏಷ್ಯನ್​ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್​ ಇಂದು ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಅಥ್ಲೀಟ್​ಗಳು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತ ಬಾಕ್ಸರ್ ಲೊವ್ಲಿನಾ ಬೊರ್ಗೊಹೈನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷರ ಹಾಕಿ ನಾಯಕ ಹರ್ಮನ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ದೇಶದ ಧ್ವಜಧಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆದರು.

ಏಷ್ಯನ್​ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್​ಗೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ 625 ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು 260 ತರಬೇತುದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 921 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಚೀನಾದ ಹ್ಯಾಂಗ್‌ಝೌಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಮಂದಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ನಾಳೆ (ಭಾನುವಾರ) ಅನೇಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಭಾರತ ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿಯ ಈವೆಂಟ್‌ನ ಅಂದರೆ 2018ರ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 70 ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪದಕಗಳ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಆಟಗಳು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 23 ರಂದು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್, ಫುಟ್‌ಬಾಲ್, ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಚ್ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್‌ನಂತಹ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 19 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿವೆ.

ಭಾರತ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಏಷ್ಯನ್​ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್​ನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ವನಿತೆಯರ ತಂಡ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸೆಮಿಫೈನಲ್ಸ್​ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದು, ನಾಳೆ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗೆದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇರ ಫೈನಲ್​ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ವನಿತೆಯರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್​ನ ಫೈನಲ್​ ಪಂದ್ಯ ಸೆ.25 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಪುರುಷರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್​ ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್​ನಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಲಿವೆ. ಅ.7 ರಂದು ಪುರುಷರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್​ನ ಫೈನಲ್​ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಭಾರತ ರುತುರಾಜ್​ ಗಾಯಕ್ವಾಡ್​ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಷ್ಯನ್​ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್​ ಆಡಲಿದೆ.
