ಬಲ್ಗೇರಿಯಾ: ಅಂಡರ್-20 ವಿಶ್ವ ಕುಸ್ತಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಕುಸ್ತಿಪಟು ಅಂತಿಮ್ ಪಂಗಾಲ್ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಕುಸ್ತಿಪಟು ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಲ್ಗೇರಿಯಾದ ಸೋಫಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕುಸ್ತಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ 53 ಕೆಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಿಮ್ ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಜಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಅಲ್ಟನ್ ಶಗಾಯೆವಾ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಡೆದ ಸೆಣಸಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ 8-0 ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೇವಲ 17 ವರ್ಷದ ಅಂತಿಮ್ ಪಂಗಾಲ್ ವಿಶ್ವಕುಸ್ತಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದೊಂದು ದಾಖಲೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಕುಸ್ತಿಪಟುವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ 34 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಚಿನ್ನ ಗೆದ್ದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ 2021ರ ಕೆಡೆಟ್ ವಿಶ್ವ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಅಂತಿಮ್ ಪಂಗಾಲ್, 2022ರ ಅಂಡರ್-23 ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದರು. ಮೂಲತಃ ಹರಿಯಾದ ಹಿಸಾರ್ನವರಾಗಿರುವ ಅಂತಿಮ್, 2004ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಮೂವರು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
