ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ : ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರೀಮಿಯರ್ ಲೀಗ್ನ (ಐಪಿಎಲ್) ಗುರುವಾರದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್‌ರೈಸರ್ಸ್ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರಾಯಲ್ ಚಾಲೆಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ತಂಡ 8 ವಿಕೆಟ್ಗಳ ಅಮೋಘ ಜಯ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು. ಬೃಹತ್ ಮೊತ್ತ ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಬ್ಯಾಟರ್ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಶತಕ ಗಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರ್ಸಿಬಿ ಪರ ಹೀರೋ ಆದರು. ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ 6ನೇ ಶತಕ ಸಿಡಿಸಿದ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ವೈಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ವೇಗದ ಬೌಲರ್ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಅಮೀರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ ಗೇಲ್ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸರಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ: 187 ರನ್ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಗುರಿ ಪಡೆದ ರಾಯಲ್ ಚಾಲೆಂಜರ್ಸ್ಗೆ ನಾಯಕ ಫಾಫ್ ಡು ಪ್ಲೆಸಿಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ 17.5 ಓವರ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 172 ರನ್ಗಳ ಸಿಡಿಲಬ್ಬರದ ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಜೊತೆಯಾಟ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ಬೌಲರ್ಗಳ ಬೆವರಿಳಿಸಿದ ಈ ಜೋಡಿ ಪ್ಲೇಆಫ್ಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿತು. ಅರ್ಧಶತಕದ ಗಡಿ ದಾಟಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ತೋರಿದ ವಿರಾಟ್ 63 ಎಸೆತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 12 ಬೌಂಡರಿ ಹಾಗೂ 4 ಸಿಕ್ಸರ್ ಸಹಿತ 100 ರನ್ ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಔಟಾದರು. ಇದು ಐಪಿಎಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಬಾರಿಸಿದ 6ನೇ ಶತಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಾಜಿ ಆರ್ಸಿಬಿ ಆಟಗಾರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ ಗೇಲ್ (6 ಶತಕ) ದಾಖಲೆ ಸರಿಗಟ್ಟಿದರು. ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ತಂಡದ ಜೋಸ್ ಬಟ್ಲರ್ 5 ಶತಕ ಸಿಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಂತರದ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ 6 ಅರ್ಧಶತಕ ಹಾಗೂ 1 ಶತಕ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದುವರೆಗೆ 13 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ 538 ರನ್ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಗ್ರ 4ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿಕ್ಸರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಶತಕ ತಲುಪಿದ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ 2018ರ ನಂತರ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಬಳಿಕ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸೀಸನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ 500 ರನ್ ಗಡಿ ದಾಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ಬರದ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಅನೇಕ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರು ಹಾಡಿಹೊಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
