ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಐಪಿಎಲ್​​ ತಂಡಗಳ ಆಟಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಐಪಿಎಲ್​ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಅನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಟಾವಧಿಗೆ ಮುಂದೂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಸುರೇಶ್‌ ರೈನಾ ಟ್ವೀಟ್‌ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

'ಇದು ತಮಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜೀವಗಳು ಪಣಕ್ಕಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ನಾನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳು ಸಾಕಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂಥ ಸಂದಿಗ್ಧ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಂದಲೂ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು' ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
