ಪೊಚೆಫ್‌ಸ್ಟ್ರೂಮ್(ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ): ಆಂಗ್ಲರ ಎದುರು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್​ ಮತ್ತು ಬೌಲಿಂಗ್​ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ 19 ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನ ವನಿತೆಯರು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಐಸಿಸಿಯಿಂದ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ 19 ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನವರ ವನಿತೆಯರ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್​ ಆಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಮೊದಲ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಭಾರತದ ವುಮೆನ್​ ಇನ್​ ಬ್ಲೂ ತಂಡ ಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ.

ಟಾಸ್​ ಗೆದ್ದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವನಿತೆಯರು ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್​ನ್ನು ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್​ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ಇತ್ತರು. 17.1 ಓವರ್​ಗೆ 68 ರನ್​ಗೆ ಆಲ್​ ಔಟ್​ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸುಲಭ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಸೌಮ್ಯ ತಿವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ರಿಶಾ 14 ಓವರ್​ನಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಗಿಸಿದರು. ಭಾರತ ತಂಡ ಮೂರು ವಿಕೆಟ್​ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು 69 ರನ್​ ಪೇರಿಸಿ ವಿಜಯ ಪತಾಕೆ ಹಾರಿಸಿತು.

ಟಾಸ್​ ಗೆದ್ದ ಶೆಫಾಲಿ ವರ್ಮಾ ಬೌಲಿಂಗ್​ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಯೋಜನೆಯಂತೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್​ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕುವಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರನ್ನು ಬೌಲರ್​ಗಳು ಕೇವಲ 68 ರನ್​ಗೆ ಮಣಿಸಿದರು. 69 ರನ್​ನ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದ ಭಾರತದ ವನಿತೆಯರು ಆರಂಭಿ ನಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದರು. ಉತ್ತಮ ಫಾರ್ಮ್​ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸೆಮಿಸ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸರೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಸೆಹ್ರಾವತ್ 5 ರನ್​ಗೆ ವಿಕೆಟ್​ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.

ನಂತರ ಬಂದ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ತಿವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರಂಭಿಕರಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ನಾಯಕಿ ಶೆಫಾಲಿ ವರ್ಮಾ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಇನ್ನಿಂಗ್ಸ್​ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. ತಂಡದ ಮೊತ್ತ 20 ರನ್​ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾಯಕಿ ಕ್ಯಾಚ್​ ಔಟ್ ಆಗಿ ಪೆವಿಲಿಯನ್​ಗೆ ಮರಳಿರು. ನಂತರ ಗೊಂಗಡಿ ತ್ರಿಶಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಿವಾರಿ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಗೆಲುವಿನತ್ತ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯದರು. ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ರನ್​ ಬಾಕಿ ಇರುವಾಗ ತ್ರಿಶಾ (24) ವಿಕೆಟ್​ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಸೌಮ್ಯ (24) ಅವರು ಅಜೇಯರಾಗಿ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಗೆಲುವು ತಂದಿತ್ತರು.

ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್​ ಪೆವಿಲಿಯನ್​ ಪರೇಡ್​: ಭಾರತೀಯ ವನಿತೆಯರು ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾರಮ್ಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದರು. ಆಂಗ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ 4 ಜನ ಮಾತ್ರ ಎರಡಂಕಿ ದಾಟಿದರು. ಉಳಿದ 7 ಜನ ಒಂದಂಕಿಗೆ ಔಟ್​ ಆದರೆ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಡಕ್​ ವಿಕೆಟ್​ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ರಿಯಾನಾ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಗೇ 19, ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾ ಸ್ಟೋನ್‌ಹೌಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋಫಿಯಾ ಸ್ಮೇಲ್ ತಲಾ 11 ರನ್​ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಾಮ್ ಫಿಯೋನಾ ಹಾಲೆಂಡ್ 10 ರನ್ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಮತ್ತಾರೂ 5 ರನ್​ ದಾಟಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಭಾರತದ ಪರ ಟಿಟಾಸ್ ಸಾಧು, ಅರ್ಚನಾ ದೇವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರ್ಶವಿ ಚೋಪ್ರಾ ತಲಾ 2 ವಿಕೆಟ್​ ಕಬಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮನ್ನತ್ ಕಶ್ಯಪ್, ಶಫಾಲಿ ವರ್ಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋನಮ್ ಯಾದವ್ ತಲಾ 1 ವಿಕೆಟ್​ ಗಳಿಸಿದರು.
