ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಆನೆಯ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯವೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು 'ಅನಾಗರಿಕರು' ಎಂದು ಭಾರತ ತಂಡದ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆಹಾರ ಅರಸಿ ಕಾಡಿನಿಂದ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಆನೆಗೆ ಕೆಲ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳು ಪಟಾಕಿ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದ ಅನಾನಸ್​ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಸ್ಫೋಟಗೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿರುವ ದಾರುಣ ಘಟನೆ ಮೇ 27 ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಮಲಪ್ಪುರಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು.
