ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶದ ಸೋಂಕಿನಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೋಮಾದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಾಜಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ (84) ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವ ಗಂಭೀರ್​, 'ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಪಾರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸದಾ ನೆನೆಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ' ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಣಬ್​ ಅವರನ್ನು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸೇನಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಪಾಸಿಟಿವ್ ಎಂಬುದು ಬಳಿಕ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೆದುಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಹೆಪ್ಪುಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೋಮಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾರಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಸಂಜೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಅಭಿಜಿತ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
