ಮುಂಬೈ: 2011ರ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸಿ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್‌ಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಈಗಲೂ ನನಗೆ ರೋಮಾಂಚನದ ಅನುಭವ ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾರತದ ಲೆಜೆಂಡ್ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
2011ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಧೋನಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡ 28 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಏಕದಿನ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿತ್ತು. ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 5 ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಆಡಿದ್ದ ಸಚಿನ್ 6ನೇ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಪಂದ್ಯದ ನಂತರ ಭಾರತದ ಆಟಗಾರರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವಾಂಖೆಡೆ ಸುತ್ತ ಸಚಿನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಭಾರತ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕಂಡ ಸರ್ವಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕ್ಷಣ ಆಗಿದೆ.
