2020 ವರ್ಷ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಾಕ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಕ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕ ಎನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಕೂಡಾ ಜರುಗುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಈ ವರ್ಷ ನಾವು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಭಾನುವಾರವಷ್ಟೇ ಸ್ಯಾಂಡಲ್ವುಡ್ ನಟ ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿ ಸರ್ಜಾ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೀಗ ತಮಿಳಿನ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಿನಿಮಾಟೊಗ್ರಾಫರ್ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಿ. ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ಇಂದು ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ನಿಧನದಿಂದ ತಮಿಳು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗ ಆಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ತಮಿಳು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಾ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಖ್ಯಾತ ತಮಿಳು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಭಾರತಿ ರಾಜ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ಸುಮಾರು 40 ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು 'ಭಾರತಿರಾಜ ಕಣ್ಣು' ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
ಖ್ಯಾತ ನಟಿ ಖುಷ್ಬೂ ಕೂಡಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೋಷಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಸರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. '2020 ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಖ್ಯಾತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ' ಎಂದು ಅವರು ದು:ಖ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
