ಶ್ರೀನಗರ (ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ): ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಪ್ಯಾಂಥರ್ಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಪ್ರೊ.ಭೀಮ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ (81) ಇಂದು ಜಮ್ಮುವಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧನ ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕನ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಸಂತಾಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಇವರು ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಪತ್ನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೊ.ಭೀಮ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಾಸಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭೀಮ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, 1977ರಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಪ್ಯಾಂಥರ್ಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
