ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಗೆ ಸೆರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗಲು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಬಾಸೋರ್​​(ಒಡಿಶಾ): ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆ ಭಾರತದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುವ ಶತ್ರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ನಡುಕ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಲಾದ ಅಣ್ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ-2 ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥ ಉಡಾವಣೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಗುರುವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಒಡಿಶಾದ ಬಾಸೋರ್​​ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಉಡಾವಣೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

350 ಕಿ. ಮೀ ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಜಿಗಿಯುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ-2 ನಿನ್ನೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ 8.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾ ಮೂಲಗಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿವೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂಡ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿ 500/100 ಕೆಜಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಸಿಡಿತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಗಬಲ್ಲದಾಗಿದೆ.
