शुभमन गिल का रिकॉर्ड
भारतीय सलामी बल्लेबाज शुभमन गिल ने न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज के दौरान दूसरा शतक जड़ा है. इससे गिल ने अब 2016 में वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ बाबर आजम द्वारा हासिल की गई उपलब्धि की बराबरी की है. 24 जनवरी को इंदौर में खेले गए मैच में गिल ने ताबड़तोड़ बल्लेबाजी करते हुए केवल 78 गेंदों में 112 रन स्कोर किए, जिससे गिल ने अपना चौथा वनडे शतक और इस सीरीज का दूसरा शतक लगाया है. इससे पहले हैदराबाद में न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ पहले वनडे में गिल ने 208 रन बनाए थे, जिससे बाद शुभमन गिल वनडे मैच में दोहरे शतक तक पहुंचने वाले पांचवें भारतीय बन गए थे. रायपुर में दूसरे वनडे में गिल 40 रन बनाने के बाद अब इस सीरीज में उनके कुल रन 360 हो गए हैं. इससे पहले पाकिस्तानी बल्लेबाज बाबर आजम ने 2016 में तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज में तीन जड़कर कुल 360 रन बनाए थे.
