हैदराबाद: भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) के सचिव जय शाह एशियाई क्रिकेट परिषद (एसीसी) के नए अध्यक्ष बन गए हैं. जय शाह ने बांग्लादेश के नजमुल हसन की जगह ली.
जय शाह के एसीसी के अध्यक्ष बनने की पुष्टि बीसीसीआई के कोषाध्यक्ष अरूण सिंह धूमल ने की. उन्होंने अपने ऑफिशियल ट्विटर अकाउंट से ट्वीट कर लिखा, ''एशियाई क्रिकेट परिषद के अध्यक्ष के रूप में जय शाह को बधाई. मुझे यकीन है कि उनके नेतृत्व में एसीसी अधिक ऊंचाइयों को प्राप्त करेगा और पूरे एशियाई क्षेत्र के क्रिकेटरों को फायदा होगा. सफल कार्यकाल के लिए मेरी शुभकामनाएं.''
