क्रिकेट जगत ने डीन जोंस को दी श्रद्धांजलि

भारत के महान बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर ने कहा, "डीन जोंस का निधन, दिल दहला देने वाली खबर..ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मेरे पहले दौरे के दौरान उनके खिलाफ खेलने का मौका मिला था. भगवान उनकी आत्मा को शांति दे. उनके प्रियजनों को मेरी संवेदनाएं."

नई दिल्ली: ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व क्रिकेटर और कॉमेंटेटर डीन जोंस का गुरुवार को दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया. जोंस इस समय संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (UAE) में खेले जा रहे IPL के लिए मुंबई में आईपीएल ब्रॉडकास्टर्स की कॉमेंट्री टीम का हिस्सा थे.

जोंस के निधन की खबर सुनते ही क्रिकेट जगत में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई है और विश्व क्रिकेट समुदाय ने जोंस के निधन पर उन्हें अपनी श्रद्धांजलि दी है.

पूर्व भारतीय बल्लेबाज वीवीएस लक्ष्मण ने कहा, "डीन जोंस के निधन खबर सुनकर हैरान हूं. उनके परिजनों के प्रति मेरी संवादनाएं."

श्रीलंका के पूर्व कप्तान कुमार संगकारा ने कहा, "डीन जोंस के निधन की खबर, अविश्वसनीय रूप से दुखद समाचार है. मेरी संवेदनाएं उनके परिवार के साथ."

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व तेज गेंदबाज डेमियन फ्लेमिंग ने कहा, "डीन जोन्स के निधन की खबर से स्तब्ध हूं. हमेशा बड़े व्यक्तित्व वाले थे."

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व बल्लेबाज मार्क वॉ ने कहा, "इस दुखद खबर पर विश्वास नहीं किया जा सकता. शानदार खिलाड़ी और मैदान पर हमेशा अपनी कंपनी का आनंद लेते रहे. इस दुखद समय में हम उनके परिवार के साथ हैं."

आईपीएल लीग ने भी उन्हें अपनी श्रद्धांजलि दी है. लीग ने कहा, "हम डीन जोंस के असामयिक निधन के बारे में जानकर बेहद स्तब्ध और दुखी हैं. खेल के प्रति उनकी ऊर्जा और उत्साह वास्तव में सबसे अलग था. दु:ख की इस घड़ी में उनके परिवार, दोस्तों और उनके फॉलोवर्स के प्रति हमारी संवेदनाएं."

वो पाकिस्तान सुपर लीग में इस्लामाबाद युनाइटेड और कराची किंग्स की कोचिंग का भी हिस्सा थे.

पीसीबी ने कहा, "डीन जोंस के निधन की खबर से पीसीबी (पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड) परेशान है. पीसीबी उनके परिवार, दोस्तों और पूरे क्रिकेट समुदाय के लिए अपनी हार्दिक संवेदना व्यक्त करता है."
