कोरोना वायरस : आईटीबीपी के केंद्र में रखे गए 406 लोगों की जांच निगेटिव

कोरोना वायसर के संभावित खतरे से निबटने के लिए आईटीबीपी के जवानों ने छावला शिविर में विशेष निगरानी कैंप बनाए हैं. इस दौरान चीन और विदेश से आ रहे लोगों को वहां रख कर उनकी विशेष जांच की जा रही है.

नई दिल्ली : चीन के वुहान शहर से दिल्ली लाए गए 406 लोगों की कोरोना वायरस के लिए की गई जांच निगेटिव आई है. इन सभी लोगों को यहां भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी) के एक केंद्र में रखा गया है. यह बात सोमवार को बल के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कही.

आईटीबीपी के एक प्रवक्ता विवेक पांडे ने कहा, 'नियमित रूप से मेडिकल जांच की जा रही है और संभावित कोरोना वायरस के लिए इन सभी की अभी तक की गई जांच निगेटिव आई है.'

प्रवक्ता पांडे ने बताया, 'जरूरत पड़ने पर यहां चार पृथक् बिस्तर तैयार रखे गए हैं और एम्स तथा सफदरजंग के चिकित्सक यहां नियमित रूप से दौरा कर रहे हैं ताकि बल की मेडिकल टीम का सहयोग कर सकें.'

एअर इंडिया के अलग अलग विमानों से चीन के वुहान से लाए जाने के बाद राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के छावला इलाके में भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस के केंद्र में कुल 406 लोगों को रखा गया है.

Intro:New Delhi: As the threat of Novel Coronavirous looms large over India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday set up a Group of Ministers (GoM) to monitor the situation arising out of the disease.

The development took place hours after the third Coronavirous patient was detected in Kerala.

Body:Being aware of the outbreak of Novel Coronavirous, the Indo Tibetean Border Police (ITBP) and army have also come forward to quarantine people coming from China and other neighbouring countries.

Talking to ETV Bharat in an exclusive interview ITBP spokeaperon Vivek Pandey said that as of now 406 people have been kept under observation at its Chhawala camp.

"As of today 406 people have been kept under observation at the Chhawala camp. Seven nationals from Maldives and one from China are at the quarantine camp," said Pandey.

All necessary arrangements have been made for the people who are being kept at the camp. "There are so many families also with childrens...we have kept in mind that all their basic needs are fulfilled," said Pandey.

They will be kept under observation for at least 14 days before they are allowed to go home. Out of the 406 people, there are seven Mauritius nationals and one Bangladeshi. Interestingly, two officials of Indian embassy in China have also come to ITBP quarantine camp.

"Periodical checkups are being done as per medical protocol. All tests are negative till now. Sufficient amount of medicines are also kept at the centre. Four isolation beds are also kept ready in case of any urgency," said Pandey.

Meanwhile, the first meeting of GoM setup to review the prepardeness for coronavirous took place in New Delhi.

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Minister for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri, External Affairs Minister S Jayashankar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Minister Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, Minister for Shipping Mansukh Lal Mandaviya were present in the meeting.

According to sources elaborate discussion were made in the meeting over the steps taken to fight against coronavirous.

It was informed in the meeting that e-Visa facility for Chinese passport holders has also been temporarily suspended.

Conclusion:Meanwhile, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Dr PK Mishra chaired a high level meeting over Novel Coronavirous. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Principal Advisor to Prime Minister PK Sinha, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba were present in the meeting.

On the otherhand, sources in the health ministry said that third positive case of Novel Coronavirous patient, has been reported in Kerala. The patient has a travel history from Wuhan in China.

"The patient has tested positive for Novel Coronavirous and is in isolation in the hospital. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored," said sources.
