पटनाः बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव के प्रथम चरण के लिए मतदान शुरू हो चुका है. प्रथम चरण पर 71 सीटों के लिए मतदान सुबह सात बजे से प्रारंभ हो चुका है.
पहले चरण के लिए निर्वाचन आयोग ने चाक चौबंद तैयारियां की हैं. कुल 31 हजार 371 मतदान केंद्र बनाए गए हैं. चुनावी मैदान में कुल 1 हजार 66 उम्मीदवार हैं, जिनमें 952 पुरुष उम्मीदवार और 114 महिला उम्मीदवार हैं. प्रथम चरण के लिए 6000 संवेदनशील बूथ हैं.

इन सभी की किस्मत ईवीएम में कैद करने के लिए 2 करोड़ 14 लाख 6 हजार 96 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे. इन मतदाताओं में पुरुष मतदाता- 1 करोड़ 12 लाख 76 हजार 396 और महिला मतदाता- 1 करोड़ 1 लाख 29 हजार 101 हैं. थर्ड जेंडर 599 हैं.
