નવી દિલ્હીઃ વર્લ્ડકપ 2023ની ફાઇનલમાં હાર બાદ ભારતીય ફાસ્ટ બોલર મોહમ્મદ શમી હાલમાં પોતાના વતન અમરોહામાં છે. આ દરમિયાન અમરોહામાં જ એક ઈન્ટરવ્યુમાં તેણે ફાઈનલ હાર્યા બાદ ડ્રેસિંગ રૂમમાં નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના આગમનનો ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો હતો. તેમણે કહ્યું કે જ્યારે વડાપ્રધાન તમને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરે છે, તે એક અલગ ક્ષણ છે. જ્યારે તમારો આત્મવિશ્વાસ ઘટી જાય અને તમારા વડાપ્રધાન તમારી સાથે હોય ત્યારે તમારો આત્મવિશ્વાસ વધે છે.

વિશ્વ કપમાં શમી શાનદાર પ્રદર્શન: વિશ્વ કપમાં શમી ભારત માટે મોટા સ્ટાર તરીકે ઉભરી આવ્યો હતો. ભારતે વર્લ્ડ કપના ગ્રુપ સ્ટેજ અને સેમી ફાઈનલ મેચ જીતી હતી. જેમાં મોહમ્મદ શમીએ શાનદાર પ્રદર્શન કર્યું હતું અને 24 વિકેટ ઝડપી હતી. તેની વિકેટ 7 મેચમાં 10.70 ની એવરેજ અને 12.20 ની સ્ટ્રાઈક રેટ સાથે આવી, જેમાં તેની શ્રેષ્ઠ બોલિંગ ફિગર 57 રન આપીને 7 છે. તેણે ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં ત્રણ વખત 5 વિકેટ ઝડપી હતી અને બોલિંગના ઘણા રેકોર્ડ તોડ્યા હતા. તે ટૂર્નામેન્ટમાં સૌથી વધુ વિકેટ લેનારો બોલર બન્યો હતો.
