BCCI હાલમાં 2020 માટે વાર્ષિક ખેલાડી કરારની જાહેરાત કરી હતી. જેમાં ભારતના પૂર્વ કેપ્ટન મહેન્દ્ર સિંહ ધોનીનું નામ સામેલ નહોતું. ક્રિકેટ એક્સપર્ટનું માનવું છે કે, જો ધોની (IPL) Indian Premier Leagueમાં સારું પ્રદર્શન કરે તો ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં ઓક્ટોબરમાં રમાનારી T-20 વર્લ્ડકપમાં ટીમ સાથે જોવા મળી શકે છે.
