દેશભરમાં નાગરિકતા સંશોધન બિલને લઈ ઉગ્ર વાતાવરણ જોવા મળી રહ્યું છે. ત્યારે બૉલીવૂડ અભિનેતાઓ પણ આ અંગે પોતાની પ્રતિક્રિયાઓ આપી રહ્યાં છે. જેના કારણે અનેક વિવાદો ઉભા થઈ રહ્યાં છે.
બૉલીવુડ અભિનેત્રી પરિણીતિ ચોપડા CAA અંગે ટ્વીટ કર્યુ હતું. તેણે લખ્યું હતું કે, આપણે હવે આપણે આપણા દેશને લોકશાહી કહેવાનું છોડી દેવુ જોઈએ.

આ ટ્વીટ બાદ તેને 'બેટી બચાઓ બેટી પઢાઓ' કેમ્પમાંથી હાંકી કાઢી હોવાની વાતોએ જોર પકડ્યું હતું. ત્યારે હરિયાણાની સરકારે આ વાતની સ્પષ્ટતા કરતાં જણાવ્યું છે કે, "પરિણીતિને વર્ષ 2015માં હરિયાણા સરકારે 'બેટી બચાઓ બેટી પઢાઓ' કેમ્પની બ્રેન્ડ એમ્બેસેડર બનાવી હતી. જેમાં પરિણીતિનો કાર્યકાળ 2016માં પૂરો થયો હતો. ત્યારબાદ રિયો ઓલમ્પિકની વિજેતા સાક્ષી મલિક આ કેમ્પનો ભાગ બની હતી.
આમ, પરિણીતિએ કરેલાં ટ્વીટ બાદ સર્જાયેલાં વિવાદથી હરિયાણા સરકારે આ સમગ્ર બાબતમાં તેમની કોઈ ભૂમિકા ન હોવાનું જણાવ્યું હતું.
