મુંબઈ: દિગ્દર્શક વિવેક અગ્નિહોત્રી દ્વારા નિર્મિત ફિલ્મ 'ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઇલ્સ' (FILM The Kashmir Files)ને ઓસ્કર 2023 (Kashmir Files shortlisted for Oscars)ની પ્રથમ યાદીમાં પસંદ કરવામાં આવી છે. આ યાદીમાં 5 ભારતીય ફિલ્મ 'ગંગુબાઈ', 'ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઇલ્સ', 'કંતારા' અને 'ઈરાવિન નિઝાલ' અને ફીચર ફિલ્મ ધ 'લાસ્ટ શો'નો સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

પ્રથમ યાદીમાં ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઈલ: કાશ્મીરી પંડિતો પર આધારિત 2022ની સૌથી લોકપ્રિય ફિલ્મ કાશ્મીર ફાઇલ્સને ઓસ્કાર 2023 માટે શોર્ટલિસ્ટ કરવામાં આવી છે. વિવેક અગ્નિહોત્રી દ્વારા નિર્દેશિત આ ફિલ્મ રિલીઝ થયા બાદથી જ ચર્ચામાં છે. ફિલ્મ નિર્દેશક વિવેક અગ્નિહોત્રીએ પણ આ મામલે સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર પ્રતિક્રિયા આપી છે. તેમણે લખ્યું કે, 'ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઇલને TheAcademyની પ્રથમ યાદીમાં Oscars2023 માટે શોર્ટલિસ્ટ કરવામાં આવી છે. તે ભારતની 5 ફિલ્મોમાંથી એક છે. હું તેમને બધાને ખૂબ ખૂબ શુભેચ્છા પાઠવું છું. ભારતીય સિનેમા માટે સારું વર્ષ.

ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઈલ સ્ટોરી: મિથુન ચક્રવર્તી, અનુપમ ખેર, દર્શન કુમાર, પલ્લવી જોશી તારીખ 11 માર્ચ 2022ના રોજ રિલીઝ થયેલી ફિલ્મ ધ કાશ્મીર ફાઇલ્સમાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ ભૂમિકામાં હતા. કાશ્મીરી પંડિતો પર અત્યાચારની કહાની પર આધારિત આ ફિલ્મને લઈને ઘણો વિવાદ થયો હતો. ફિલ્મમાં વર્ષ 1990માં કાશ્મીરી પંડિતો પર થયેલા અત્યાચારની સ્ટોરી લોકોને મોટા પડદા દ્વારા બતાવવામાં આવી છે. જોકે, વિવાદો વચ્ચે આ ફિલ્મે બોક્સ ઓફિસ પર દબદબો જમાવ્યો હતો. આ ફિલ્મે ભારતમાં લગભગ 252 કરોડ અને વિશ્વભરના માર્કેટમાં 341 કરોડની કમાણી કરી હતી.

ઓસ્કાર એવોર્ડ માટે શોર્ટલિસ્ટ: કંતારાની અજાયબી ગત વર્ષની 2022ની સફળ ફિલ્મોમાંની એક 'કંતારા'ને પણ 95મા ઓસ્કાર એવોર્ડ માટે શોર્ટલિસ્ટ કરવામાં આવી છે. આ ફિલ્મને એકેડેમી એવોર્ડની યાદીમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ ફિલ્મ અને શ્રેષ્ઠ અભિનેતાની યાદીમાં સામેલ કરવામાં આવી છે. 'કંતારા'ના દિગ્દર્શક અને મુખ્ય અભિનેતા ઋષભ શેટ્ટીએ ફિલ્મને ઓસ્કાર માટે નોમિનેટ થવા પર ખુશી વ્યક્ત કરી છે. તેણે ટ્વીટ કરીને લખ્યું, 'અમે ખૂબ ખુશ છીએ કે, કંતારાને ઓસ્કાર લાયકાત મળી છે. અમને ટેકો આપનાર તમામનો હૃદયપૂર્વક આભાર. અમે તમારી સાથે આ સફરને આગળ વધારવા માટે આતુર છીએ. હવે તે ઓસ્કારમાં ચમકશે તેની રાહ જોવાઈ રહી છે.'
