શ્રીનગર ઉધમપુર જિલ્લાના મુત્તલ વિસ્તારના સમોલે ગામમાં ભૂસ્ખલનને (Landslides In Jammu Kashmir) કારણે માટીનું મકાન ધરાશાયી (House Collapsed In Jammu and Kashmir) થતાં બે બાળકોના મોત (Two Children Died In Accident) થયા છે. માહિતી મળતાં જ રેસ્ક્યુ ટીમ ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચી હતી અને ધરાશાયી થયેલા મકાનના કાટમાળમાંથી મૃતદેહોને બહાર કાઢ્યા હતા. ભારે વરસાદને કારણે અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં ભૂસ્ખલનની ઘટનાઓ વધી છે. વહીવટીતંત્ર પરિસ્થિતિ પર નજર રાખી રહ્યું છે.

જમ્મુ કાશ્મીરમાં ભારે વરસાદ વરસાદને (Heavy Rains In Jammu Kashmir) કારણે કટરા જિલ્લામાં વૈષ્ણો મંદિર પાસે અચાનક પૂર આવ્યું હતું. જેના કારણે યાત્રિકોને મુશ્કેલીનો સામનો કરવો પડ્યો હતો. વહીવટીતંત્રે સાવચેતીના પગલા તરીકે શ્રદ્ધાળુઓની અવરજવર અસ્થાયી ધોરણે બંધ કરી દીધી હતી. આ પહેલા જમ્મુ કાશ્મીરના રામબન જિલ્લાના નીરા વિસ્તારમાં વાદળ ફાટવાથી વિસ્તારમાં ભારે નુકસાન થયું હતું. ભારે વરસાદના કારણે વાદળ ફાટવાથી મહારમાં બે મહિલાઓ ધોવાઈ ગઈ હોવાના અહેવાલ છે.

અનેક મકાનોને થયું નુકસાન પૂરની સ્થિતિને કારણે અનેક વાહનો પણ ધોવાઈ ગયા હતા. અનેક મકાનોને પણ નુકસાન થયું હતું. પોલીસ, SDRF અને સ્થાનિક સ્વયંસેવકોએ શોધ અને બચાવ કામગીરી શરૂ કરી હતી. ગુમ થયેલી મહિલાઓની ઓળખ શબ્બીર અહેમદની પત્ની સકીના બેગમ અને પુત્રી રોઝા બાનો તરીકે થઈ છે. ત્રણ બાળકો તો બચી ગયા, પરંતુ પત્ની અને એક પુત્રી પાણીના કરંટમાં વહી ગયા હતા.
