અલવર: ભારત અને ચીનના સૈનિકો વચ્ચે લદ્દાખમાં થયેલા ઘર્ષણ દરમિયાન અલવરના સુરેન્દ્રએ બહાદુરીથી ચીની સૈનિકોનો સામનો કર્યો હતો. જેમાં સુરેન્દ્રના પરિવારે જણાવ્યું કે, ભારતીય સૈનિકો પાસે હથિયર ન હતા. જ્યારે ચીનના સૈનિકો પાસે લોખંડના સળિયા જેવા શસ્ત્રો હતા. સુરેન્દ્ર સરદાર હોવાને કારણે કટાર પહેરેલી હતી. ચીની સૈનિકોએ જયારે હુમલો કર્યો ત્યારે સુરેન્દ્રએ કટારથી પોતાનો બચાવ કર્યો હતો.
સુરેન્દ્ર દ્વારા બતાવવામાં આવેલી વીરતા આખા દેશમાં ચર્ચાનો વિષય બની છે. આ દરમિયાન ગૃહપ્રધાન અમિત શાહે સુરેન્દ્રના પિતાના નિવેદનને ટ્વીટ કરીને રાહુલ ગાંધી પર નિશાન સાધ્યું હતું. બીજી તરફ રાહુલ ગાંધીએ સુરેન્દ્રના પિતાના નિવેદનને ટ્વીટ કર્યું છે.
