આ વખતે એકેડમી પુરસ્કારમાં ઘણી ખાસ બાબતો છે. જેમાંથી એક એ પણ છે કે, આ વખતે પુરસ્કાર શૉમાં કોઈ પણ હોસ્ટ હશે નહી. હોસ્ટ અંતિમ સમયમાં વિવાદોમાં ઘેરાયા હોવાથી આ નિર્ણય લેવામાં આવ્યો છે. એ સમય નજીક આવી ગયો છે કે જયારે કલાકારોને દુનિયાના સૌથી મોટા પુરસ્કારથી સન્માનિત કરવામાં આવશે.
જણાવી દઈએ કે, કોમેડિયન કેવિન હાર્ડ આ વર્ષે સમારોહને હોસ્ટ કરવાના હતાં. કેવિન ટેના ટ્વિટને કારણે વિવાદોમાં ફસાયાં હતાં. જેથી તેમને સમારોહના બે દિવસ પહેલા જ હોસ્ટ પરથી હટાવવામાં આવ્યા. તેમજ આ વખતે આ પુરસ્કાર સમારોહમાં 4 કેટેગરીને પણ હટાવવામાં આવી છે. તો જોઈએ આ સમારોહમાં નોમિનેચ કરવામાં આવેલા કલાકારો અને ફિલ્મોની યાદી.
