نئی دہلی: جنوبی افریقہ میں جاری ٹی 20 ورلڈ کپ میں اتوار کے روز بھارتی خواتین ٹیم کا پہلا مقابلہ روایتی حریف پاکستان کے ساتھ تھا۔ اس میچ میں بھارت نے پاکستان کو 1 اوور اور 7 وکٹوں سے شکست دی۔ پاکستان نے ٹاس جیت کر پہلے بیٹنگ کا فیصلہ کیا۔ پہلے بلے بازی کرتے ہوئے پاکستان نے مقررہ 20 اوورز میں 4 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 149 رنز بنائے۔ بھارتی ٹیم نے 19 اوورز میں 3 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 153 رنز بنائے۔ جمائمہ روڈریگز نے 53 رنز کی ناقابل شکست اننگز کھیلی۔ ریچا گھوش بھی 31 رنز بنا کر ناٹ آؤٹ رہیں۔ روڈریگز کو ان کی شاندار کارکردگی پر پلیئر آف دی میچ دیا گیا۔
