ٹرمپ نے اینگلا مرکل کو ایک دلچسپ انسان قراردیتے ہوئے کہا کہ انہیں فخر ہیں کہ اینگلا ان کی دوست ہیں۔

ٹرمپ نے پانے جرمنی ہم منصب اینگلا مرکل کے ساتھ ایران، دہشت گردی اور تجارت جیسی کئی امور پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔

ٹرمپ نے مرکل کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ' میں نے یہاں سے روانہ ہوتے وقت ٹی وی پرخبر دیکھی تھی کہ امریکہ میں ڈیموکریٹک کی جانب سے غیر قانونی طور پر نقل مکانی کرنے والوں کو سو فیصد طبی سہولیات میہا کی جارہی ہے'۔

امریکی صدر نے روسی صدرولادیمیر پوتن سے بھی ملاقات کی۔ سال 2016 کے بعد سے یہ ٹرمپ اور روس کی پہلی ملاقات تھی۔

STORYLINE:
U.S. President Donald Trump has described Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel as a "fantastic person" and said he's "glad to have her as a friend."
The two leaders met in Osaka on Friday on the sidelines of the Group of 20 (G20) summit.
With an array of world issues on the agenda, Trump could not resist weighing in on events at home: As he held meetings with world leaders, 10 Democrats stood on a stage in Miami as part of the first debates of the 2020 presidential race.
"I just passed a television set on the way here. I saw that health care and maximum health care was given to 100% of the illegal immigrants coming into our country by the Democrats," Trump said, turning to Merkel.
Merkel underscored a busy agenda ahead, saying the two would be talking trade, about Iran an counter-terrorism.
Trump was also set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, their first sit-down since the special counsel found extensive evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.
