STORYLINE:
Poland successfully defended their Nations Cup ski jumping title after clinching victory in Saturday's final team event of the season in Planica.
The Poles led from start to finish - with Kamil Stoch opening up a sizeable advantage in the first round.
Ryoyu Kobayashi produced the longest jump of the round - but his heroics were not enough on their own to lift Japan above fourth.
Domen Prevc's massive jump cemented third place for hosts Slovenia.
And the biggest effort of the day - the penultimate leap - almost took Markus Eisenbichler and Germany to glory. Piotr Zyla did enough to secure the win by a margin of just 8.1 points over the eight jumps.
