மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலக் காவல் துறையினரின் அடையாளச் சின்னத்தை தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தின் முகப்புப் படமாக விராட் கோலி மாற்றியுள்ளார்.

கரோனா வைரஸ் பாதிப்பிலிருந்து மக்களைப் பாதுக்காப்பதற்கான பணியில் ஈடுபட்டு வரும் தூய்மைப் பணியாளர்கள், மருத்துவர்கள், காவல் துறையினர் ஆகியோரை கரோனா வாரியர்ஸ் என மக்கள் அழைத்து வருகின்றனர். இவர்களின் சேவையைச் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பலரும் பாராட்டியுள்ளனர்.

இந்நிலையில் மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலக் காவல் துறையினரில் 786 பேர் கரோனா வைரசால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டனர். இது பல்வேறு தரப்பினரிடையே சோகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இதையடுத்து அவர்களைக் கௌரவிக்கும் விதமாக இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் அணியின் கேப்டன் விராட் கோலி, மகாராஷ்டிர காவல் துறையினரின் அடையாளச் சின்னத்தை தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தின் முகப்புப் படமாக வைத்துள்ளார்.

கரோனா வைரசால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட 786 காவல் துறையினரில் 76 பேர் குணமடைந்து வீடு திரும்பியுள்ள நிலையில், 7 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். மீதமுள்ள 703 பேர் மருத்துவமனையில் தனிமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர்.
