தமிழ் சினிமாவில் முன்னணி இயக்குநர்களில் ஒருவர் மணிரத்னம். இவர் இன்று (ஜூன்.02) தனது பிறந்தநாளைக் கொண்டாடி வருகிறார். எந்த ஒரு சமூகவலைதளத்திலும் இல்லாத மணிரத்னத்திற்கு ரசிகர்கள் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தும், #HBDManiratnam என்ற ஹேஷ்டேகை ட்ரெண்ட் செய்தும் கொண்டாடி வருகின்றனர்.
மணிரத்னம் தற்போது நட்சத்திரப் பட்டாளங்களை வைத்து ’பொன்னியின் செல்வன்’ படத்தை இயக்கி வருகிறார். இது தொடர்பான ஏதேனும் அப்டேட்கள் வெளியாகலாம் என ரசிகர்களும் நெட்டிசன்களும் எதிர்பார்த்தனர். ஆனால் ஒன்றும் வெளியாகவில்லை. இந்த நிலையில், மணிரத்னம் தனது பிறந்தநாளை முன்னிட்டு ட்விட்டரில் ’@Dir_ManiRatnam ’என்ற பெயரில் இணைந்துள்ளதாக அறிவிப்பு ஒன்று வெளியானது. இது உண்மை என நம்பி பலர் அந்தக் கணக்கை பின்தொடர ஆரம்பித்தனர்.
