‘தெறி', 'மெர்சல்' படங்களின் வெற்றியைத் தொடர்ந்து விஜய் - அட்லி கூட்டணியில் உருவான திரைப்படம் 'பிகில்'. பெண்களின் கால்பந்து விளையாட்டை மையமாக வைத்து உருவாகிய இத்திரைப்படம், தீபாவளியையொட்டி திரைக்கு வந்தது. இதில் விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக நயன்தாரா நடித்திருந்தார். மேலும் இந்துஜா, யோகி பாபு, கதிர், ஷாக்கி ஷெராஃப், விவேக் உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் நடித்திருந்தனர். அர்ச்சனா கல்பாத்தி தயாரிப்பில் உருவான இப்படம், இதுவரை உலக அளவில் ரூ. 300 கோடிக்கும் அதிகமாக வசூல் செய்துள்ளது.
