'காதல் கொண்டேன்' படத்தை இயக்கிய பின் இயக்குநர் செல்வராகவன் இரண்டாவது படமாக '7ஜி ரெயின்போ காலனி' படத்தை இயக்கினார். இப்படத்தில் நடிகர் ரவி கிருஷ்ணா (கதிர்) அறிமுகம் ஆனார். இவருக்கு ஜோடியாக சோனியா அகர்வால் (அனிதா) நடித்திருந்தார். கதிரும் அனிதாவும் இன்றைக்கும் மறக்க முடியாத காதலர்களாகவே இருந்து வருகின்றனர். இப்படத்திற்கு யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜா இசையமைத்திருந்தார்.
