தமிழ் சினிமாவின் நகைச்சுவை நடிகர்களில் தற்போது முன்னணி நடிகராக வலம்வருபவர் யோகி பாபு. இவர் தற்போது லைகா நிறுவனம் தயாரிப்பில் நடிகர் கருணாகரனுடன் இணைந்து நடிக்கின்ற படம் 'பன்னிகுட்டி'. அனுசரண் முருகையா இப்படத்தை இயக்குகிறார். 'ஆண்டவன் கட்டளை', '49-0' ஆகிய படங்களில் இசையமைத்த கிருஷ்ண குமார் (K) இப்படத்தில் இசையமைப்பாளராக ஒப்பந்தமாகியுள்ளார். 'கிருமி' படத்திற்குப் பிறகு அனுசரணும் இவரும் இரண்டாவது முறையாக இணையும் படம்.

இப்படத்தில் சிங்கம் புலி, திண்டுக்கல் ஐ. லியோனி, டி.பி. கஜேந்திரன், லக்ஷ்மி பிரியா உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர். இப்படத்துக்கு சதீஷ் முருகன் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்கிறார்.
